While trying to film this morning, Charlie was all over the place. Eventually he settled down when I was actually filming and watched me. He didn’t like it when I picked up the Lion puppet though. At one point he started to chew on a wire but I think it was because he wanted to get past it.
Charlie was very good today. We didn’t get back from the airshow until 3:30 and I hadn’t given him any pellets. Next time I’d leave some. His veggies were all eaten, his placemat was warped and he was standing near his bowl when I came home. He was very happy to get pellets, but still begged for them starting at 9pm. I was able to get him to wait. When I went to say goodbye this morning, he smelled the sunblock on me and backed up. He let me pet him but did not sit back down.
Charlie’s been pretty good with mom lately, except when she brings him fruit. Later when he attacked her I told him to “stay” as she left and he listened to me. He always likes to go in mom’s room when we do the litterbox. He knows that she’s never in the room when I take it down, clever boy.
Charlie came up on the bed for the first time in months. I was laying down after playing wii and suddenly I feel little whiskers on my feet. He hopped up around my back but when I called Jason to come in he hopped down.
Again, at 1am Charlie gets bored and decides to chew up carpet. I think he’s doing it for attention. I tried to play with him and give him things to do, but he was not content. I had to give him veggies to get him to calm down. He always sleeps after eating. A sleeping bunny is a deceptive bunny.
So he got bored again at 1:30 and started periscoping up to my chair. I got on the floor and petted and groomed his head. Man can his head shed. Then I got him breakfast and he was calmed again. He’s taken to the green rug being back.
Charlie was glad to be in air conditioning today it was 93 out. He really seems to not want the curly parsley so I’ll swap it out again. He begged for pellets at night but I waited until 10:45. He was chewing on the plastic pee guard and I can see a big chunk is missing. It wasn’t too difficult to get him into his carrier this time. He seems to want to put up a fight, but once that is over he’ll go in willingly. I swapped the felt rugs for the cotton ones again since they’ll be cooler for the summer.
Charlie started to chew up carpet again tonight. He must be getting bored.
Charlie ate all his food an I had to give him his breakfast before 1, but then he laid down and slept for an hour. He ate a piece of carpet though, I heard the thud and rushed over when I realized. He was under the dresser and I watched him try it again and stopped him a couple times. He hasn’t done that in a while.
Now mom is gonna try to wave when she leaves the room as a visual cue for Charlie to stand down. We’ll see how that goes. I had both my windows open all day and he slept under his bunny port the entire time. I guess he didn’t like the breeze and it was blocked there.
Charlie was doing quick turn bunny runs under the dresser last night. Mom was vacuuming this morning and I shut him in. Then I left the room for a moment and he zoomed out into the hall and under the dresser where mom was attempting to vacuum. Then later he had to sniff all around mom’s room since it smelled different. Then he started on the towel.
