I just got a new Samsung Galaxy Note and the buns aren’t too keen on it taking my attention away from them. They both tried to bite it, stared at it, and eventually decided it was better to integrate it into their own schtick than to compete with it.
Not that they have any idea what it actually is. They just know it’s one of my toys and that I spend a lot of time playing with it when I should be petting them instead. Somehow, I need to grow a third hand. Then everyone would be happy!

For 20 minutes straight Bella sat in a corner and stared at the sight in front of her. She can see a bit under my bed and she must have been trying to figure out how she could get under there.
For my constant-mover to be sitting still for so long (awake!) was a marvel. We all had to take a look at her, even Charlie came over to see what was going on. It was a lot funnier than it must have seemed to Bella!
Of course, now I have to worry that she might ACTUALLY get under there.

My tewwible twosome have been pretty good lately. Bella’s still ripping holes in the blanket, but so far I’ve been able to keep up with her patching them. Now I just need earplugs for when she digs in the litter box at 6 am.
Bella’s also gotten better at learning cues. She’s quick to follow Charlie anywhere since somehow he always knows where the food is. Unfortunately this also means that anytime she hears something crackle (like a bag of veggies or a few dollar bills) she (and Charlie) get all excited and start dancing around for food.
I’ve found I have to be very careful when I paint my nails. For some reason Bella thinks the nail polish smells delicious and tries to eat my nails! She usually runs up to her food and takes a big chompin bite, but in this case it’s attached to me! And here I am purposely trying to keep my nail polish and the smell AWAY from the buns for their health. Now I have do it for mine!
This is how Bella spends all of her evening now: completely passed out and dead to the world. On some occasions she uses Charlie as a pillow. Her mornings, however, are filled with frantic digging, scraping and ripping.
On our last weigh-in, Charlie had put on a couple ounces and she had actually lost a few! These morning workouts must be doing her good. At the very least it keeps her out of trouble the rest of the day.
Can’t imagine that Charlie doesn’t freak out while watching her though. Who ever thought he would be the mellow bunny?
