“Misty”

“Glenda”

“Sweetie Bun”

Today was the Long Island marathon and a couple of the rabbits in my house wanted to join in. Butterscotch jumped out of his pen for the first time ever. My dad watched him jump up over his 2 ft fence onto a chair. Then he ran behind the couch and starred chowing down on some of Misty’s hay. Fortunately we were able to get him back in his pen before any trouble happened. He’s the sweetest of our buns, and I thought, the most timid. Never expected him to try anything like that!

Misty didn’t seem bothered at all by the escape artist. She just lay down up against the fence the entire time. Sweetie, however, must have been very curious about what was going on, and she jumped up four feet in the air. Her front half went past the cardboard around her fence, but she just slid back down. Wow, what a jump! She calmed down after that.
